Decisions decisions! So I'm finishing up a 300 blk build, so the next order of business is trying to decide what can to get. I have other firearms that I'd like to run as a host as well, but getting a true all in one is not really possible. I realize that eventually, to do everything I want to, I'm going to have to have two separate cans. The question is, what do I get first? Do I get a 30 cal rifle suppressor that I can also use on my .308 bolt gun, my ar's, and any other 30 cal or below center fire I wind up with, or do I get a 9mm pistol can that I can also use on my pistols and .22's?
I've been looking into quite a few suppressors lately. The effectiveness and versatility of the silencerco specwar 762 sound very appealing, and while I don't mind the length, 24 oz is pretty stinkin heavy to be hanging off the end of a barrel
The silencerco octane 9 is nice and light and would be nice for my pistols and such, but I'd be limited to subsonics only in the 300 blk. Bummer.
The liberty mystic is incredibly versatile. I can use it on my pistols, my .22's, my blackout with supers, my .223 (slow fire only), and my .308 with subsonics. Weight wise, it's right in between. I got to use one today on a 9mm at and a buckmark .22, and boy did I like it. I did notice the weight though
Right now I have found the best prices on the two silencerco cans, and the mystic is not too far behind. I know I'll eventually have to have one of each, but I just can't decide where to start. At least the paperwork is taking so long that by the time I finally get one, I'll probably have enough saved up for the other
I have only used the mystic. Does anybody have any insight or experience with these other cans? Anybody running a similar setup? Anybody else suck at making decisions?
Thanks
