I bought a Speedfeed stock approx 9 months ago for my Mossberg 590. Installed it per manufacturer's recommended procedures and used it approx 8 -9 range trips. Yesterday I took my 590 out of the safe put it butt down on the work bench to take it apart for cleaning and noticed the recoil pad was "loose". Upon closer inspection the plastic inserts that the screw the recoil pad to the butt plate were seperated from the pad.
I always thought therse were high speed. But this shotgun has really been babied. I'm contacting Speedfeed (Safariland) today to see if they'll make this right but honestly the construction of the feed tubes and springs looked and felt less than robust when I installed them. Guess I should have listened to that inner voice. Guess I'll put the factory stock back on.
