speer 170 deep curl in 300 bo

I picked up some speer 170 gr deep curl flat point bullets from RMR. these are 30-30 bullets.

I would like to load them for my 300 bo 10" pistol.

These are designed for the 30-30 so I am assuming they will expand above 1800 fps which is near max load data for similar 300 bo bullets out of a rifle length barrel.

I was wondering if anyone has used these in the 300 bo and if anyone has experience or data at what minimum velocity these will expand.

Yes, Yes, and yes. They will work, just look for data for 300BO or 300 Whisper (They are the same)

Thanks. Any idea at what velocity these expand ?

Well, tried figuring out a seating depth with these projo's.

Really can't find one for the AR .

tried 2.20 and they jam into the lands and set the bullet back to 2.1. reduced col to 2.1 and still had some deformation of the lead tip. reduced to 2.05 and they are too short to feed. sort of go nose up and don't enter the chamber.

maybe these may be better in a bolt. idk.
