After reading several recommendations for Speer Gold Dot ammo, I went out and purchased a box for a trial in my 9mm. I don't see anywhere on the box that the ammo is +P. Does anyone know if it is? I do see the term GDHP, could that be gold dot high pressure?

if it's +P, i'd expect that would be noted rather promeniently on the box

That would be gold dot hollow point. Do not bet the farm on this, but unless it says +P, it should not be +P...

+P

I'm looking at my box right now and where it describes whats in the box it says "38SPL+P 125 gr. GDHP" so it should say if it is.

GDHP = Gold Dot Hollow Point

What you have is a very capable and accurate 9mm load with a high-performance bullet. It is not +P. (Doesn't need to be +P when fired thru many pistols.)

Be happy. The difference in velocity is actually fairly small between the two pressure loadings.

If you bought it at a good price I would probably buy more!
