Anybody know the differences when a company puts "LE" in the ammo name. Without the Law enforcement initial the same ammo will cost twice as much. So. is it worth $23 for 20 Speer gold dots or $26 for 50 Speer LE gold dots?

I was wondering the same because they look the same just different part numbers. This is 125 grain.

53720 is the LE one

23720 is the regular one

I bought some the other day but it was 953720B in 250 piece boxes loose.

I wonder if that is different than the other two? It says specifically not for LE use and practice target only. They are the nickel cases.
It looks the same but it was a whole lot cheaper at $.30 a round.

I called asked.

The 9353720b is stuff that did not pass QC. This could be due to speed, expansion, or visual but deemed safe to shoot.

The LE stuff is visually inspected.

I can't remember what he said about the basic stuff.
