I got a couple last month but havent decided what to build yet. Waiting on long nights and cold weather to start another indoor project. I would like to see what others build.

yea the catch is the rails arnt installed, theres plenty of tutorials out there on how to install them but you will need access to some sort of welding machine. also the center rivet isnt installed, much less of a problem than the rails but it is certainly harder to do than the short rivets.

also it may or may not be heat treated(but if you have to weld in the rails youll probably need to heat treat it regardless).

I thought about building an AK, but realized it's very costly if you're only going to build just one (Unless you know someone who already has the proper tools). There's alot of work to be done when it comes to building an AK in the garage/basement. the tools alone cost alot, but like i said before, unless you plan on building multiple rifles, it's not worth it.

Actually, at $30 each these probably have about a 60 or 70 percent margin. :)

The do not have bolt guide rails installed or trunnion/FCG holes drilled, so you'll need to weld and drill those, plus heat treat the ejector and FCG holes as part of your build process. Not a huge amount of work, but be aware of what you're getting into.
