Springfield 1911 Sight Adjustment

My new Springfield 1911 9mm seems to be shooting a bit high (actually, a lot high) so I need to adjust the adjustable sights. Which direction to turn the set screw to make it shoot lower? It appears to be clockwise makes it shoot lower from the You Tube videos I have watched

Correct, clockwise will lower the point of impact.
