Looks like a knockoff of the SIG P238 (which is itself a knockoff of the Colt Mustang) so a P938 copy is probably in the works too.

They really need to start working on domestic manufacture of the XD line. Without it, the cannot have a striker-fired, plastic competitor for Glock 42, because importation from Chroatia is prohibited. But until then, the knock-off of P238 will have to do. At least they provide a factory 7-rounder.

Springfield Armory was late make an AR with their SAINT line. And now they are late to the pocket 380 market by making a knockoff Sig P238. The only way they might be able to capture some of this market is by selling the 911 at a much lower price than the 238.

They can't, they agreed to keep production in Croatia when the bought the rights to the design.

I'm trying to understand why I'd want to buy the Springfield, when I can have either a Colt or SIG that already has a proven track record. Plus yeah, the whole knock-off thing (although I do own a first gen LCP, which is another knock-off).
