Springfield Armory Hellcat

If the P365 hadn't already solved the CCW problem for me, I'd probably give the Hellcat a whirl.
Same here; 365 does seem to possess slightly better ergonomics, doesn't have the trigger dingus and has better sights, though. Pretty sure most who like the Hellcat haven't shot a 365 with the flat trigger -- it's a game-changer.

Here comes the Sig fans...:p

Had to say it because it always gets said about the Glock fans, and often by you. :D

Let the Hellcat owners have their day in the sun!

It’s a good time to be a CCW’er

Looking for some info as to the best IWB CCW holster for my no bones Hellcat. I'm smaller, 5'8" and around 130lbs. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I have a Tagua leather IWB holster that fits my 43X and the Hellcat. The Hellcat/365 disappear in it.

I did shoot the P365 before deciding on the Hellcat. Chose the Hellcat because;

I liked the sights better
I could mount an optic, which you can't do on the Sig without getting the larger model
The "dingus" goes un-noticed when shooting.
The grip/texture felt better to me
I did not like the Sig mag release
The Hellcat held more ammo

The game changer was the co-witnessed optic. I did compromise and bought the nifty Sig Romeo Zero. Makes the Hellcat perfect IMHO.

Sorry guys, but I tried hard to like them.
Just me, but I can't do sub compacts. Can't shoot them well and find them annoyingly uncomfortable. Smallest I go is a CZ 75 D.
Kind of jealous of you guys that can make them work for you!

You're not the only one. I can only shoot my Hellcat and 365 with 124/147 to tame them down. I'd rather shoot my Glock 29 all day..

I've recently shot both a Sig P365 and a Hellcat. Being somewhat of a Sig fan, I wanted to like the P365 better, but it didn't feel nearly as good in the hand to me. I have long fingers, and the Sig feels too small for a consistent grip, like it wants to rattle around in my mitts. Both pistols shot low for me for some reason, but the P365 shot about twice as low as the Hellcat. Both of the guns shoot to POA for their owners so I'm blaming the low hits on my technique.

I also liked the Hellcat trigger better but then the owner told me he'd upgraded the trigger with an aftermarket one, so that doesn't count. I'll have to fondle one in a LGS and get a feel for the stock trigger. I remember trying a XDs trigger once and hating it.

I also have a 43X and carry it often but the 365 fits in my pocket nicely in summer shorts so I prefer it on hotter days. Hell I’ve even carried them both together in higher risk areas. 43x IWB and 365 in pocket.

I dry fired a Hellcat when it first came out. Liked it and found it fit my larger hands a little better than the P365. But I really prefer the sights on the 365, and I did get to shoot one of those.

But for now I'll stick with my P938 Legion. It's plenty of capacity for my particular lifestyle and I have no money to spend on guns now.

I would love to fire one. I am a bit hesitant to do so, because I am afraid that it may cause me to want one and spend the $ to do so. My CC piece is a shield 9 I paid $300 for.
It did that for me and I have zero reason to own one, and dont generally like shooting small guns.

Found the sights to be very useable, trigger to be good, and the gun didnt squirm around in my hand the way alot of compact and subcompacts do.

I havent handled a 365 yet but from what I have handled Id actuality be very happy with a hellcat as a general use pistol.
