I have the exact same question about two different pistols:

What is the overall height (in inches) of the Springfield XD(m) 9mm 4.5" pistol (with the 19+1-round magazine inserted), and what is that magazine's length (when it is removed from the gun)?

I have the same two questions about the Springfield XD(m) .45 ACP 3.8" pistol (with the 9+1-round single-stack magazine)?

Well we have an XDm 9mm 3.8", but the height of the gun should be the same since the 3.8 and 4.5 both take the same mags.

Mag in gun, from bottom of mag to top of rear sight is 5 and 3/4".
Mag from baseplate to top feedlip is 4 and 7/8".

Hope this helps.
Don't have the .45

I have the Springfield XDm 45 ACP Compact 3.8", these are the measurements:

Overall Length:
7.09" w/#1 (small backstrap)
7.15" w/#2 (medium backstrap)
7.21" w/#3 (large backstrap)

Overall Height:
4.81" (includes sights and 9-round magazine)
5.81" (includes sights and 13-round magazine)

Overall Width:
1.34" (includes slide release)

Overall Magazine Height:
4.30" 9-round empty
4.40" 9-round with cartridge
5.30" 13-round empty
5.40" 13-round with cartridge

Sorry, can't help you on the 9mm.

BTW: All XDm magazines are double stack.

I see you asking these same questions about other pistols in other threads.

Are you making holsters or carrying cases or what?
