Been keeping my eyes open for a xd mod 2 subcompact for awhile .Seems like everyone is sold out except for maybe one or two online. Did they go out of business or something? Just curious is all

Springfield has not gone out of business. I suspect it is a popular gun and they are simply having trouble keeping up with inventory. The XD line comes from Croatia which could also impact deliveries to the US.

Check Gunprime. They show them in stock. Can't find them at any of my other normal places I normally shop online

SA makes good guns that are in demand, keep searching and you’ll find what you’re looking for.

I have 2 of their 1911 type pistols and have been impressed with their stuff.

I bought a XD9 Mod.2 Tactical (5" barrel) with the stainless slide for $399 at a LGS. They had a table with about 50 Mod.2s of various configurations, including many subcompacts. They are out there - grabagun or any LGS that carries Springfield should be able to hook you up.

BTW - I love the new gun. I put Williams adjustable sights on it and that's all it needs.

Not at all my LGS has lots of Springfields in fact I just bought an xds last week and registered the warranty on Springfields web sight
