I just put on layaway a NIB Trp with Armory Kote. Get to pick it up next saturday. Cant wait. Question is does anyone have one and how do they like it?? Thanks in advance oh I am so happy :D

OH MY GOD.....NOT ANOTHER ONE! I would highly suggest that you buy the gun......Dont open the box and ship it directly to me! I will only take this damn gun from you as I care about your safety greatly.......:what: :D

I shot one when I had my STI Trojan and they ran neck and neck........very very fine gun. I found a very clean one owner in SLC for around 950$ with 4 wilson mags....not bad. To bad I didnt have the money.......oh well.

Enjoy your gun....................Shoot well.

I've had a TRP in A Kote for about 2 years. It's one of 5 .45acp's that I own and the one I shoot the most often. I find it to be as reliable as my friends Kimbers and I like the look better than most. Good no nonsense pistol with all the bells and whistles I wanted in a .45. I've spend way more on custom .45's that don't shoot any better. Oh yeah, the service from Springfield Armory has been great too. When I bought the TRP, it had an extraction problem which they promptly cured and paid shipping both ways. Couldn't ask for better service. Have fun shooting your new handgun.

You're going to dig it. I just bought my first Springfield handgun, a TRP Operator and it is a very nice weapon. The slide fit is exceptional and the trigger is terrific for a factory trigger.

I have had the same TRP for about two years; it has been just great -- my favorite 1911A1.

Congrats! The TRP I shot seemed like a well made, good fitting, excellent shooting pistol...you should be happy with it ;)

I've been using a SA TRP Model, not the Operator of Professional Model for over a year in IDPA matches. No complaints. It loves most magazines and ammo. When you own a gun that shoots better than you do, No alibis!

Thanks for all the reply's I really cannot wait. I called my dealer and it came in today I am going to check it out tomorrow and pick it up Saturday.

TRP= Tactical Response Pistol:D
