Springfield xd 9 compact

I am looking into buying a ccw pistol. What is everyone's opinion on the Springfield xd 9 compact?

welcome to thr. xd's are awesome i have 2 of em, one in the 4" model and one of the sub compact models, with the 3" barrel. they are a great choice, and 9mm is even better, cheaper ammo. get a good holster and you will be good to go for ccw. i carry my xd's iwb. my sc xd has approx 2k through it, service model has over 8,500rds. they are both 100% reliable, accurate, easy to shoot, and maintain.

I've got three XD's. One 9mm Service and two Tacticals in 45 ACP. All do exceptionally well with ball and HP. The 45's are rather finicky with LSWC's though.

I love mine. Conceals great in a crossbreed supertuck.
