Springfield XDmod 2 ?

I am going to sell my P229 and am looking at a Springfield XD mod 2 Or maybe the Walther CCP. Has anyone had any experience with the Springfield or the Walther ? I need to free up some safe space and was looking for a sub compact or compact in 9mm or .40

I have the XDS in both the 9 an d45 and bought the Mod 2. I only have 50 rounds thru it so far because I sent the slider back to Springfield to have trijicon night sights put on it. It seemed like a good shooting firearm with the small amount of experience I have with it so far.
