Can anyone give me an idea of the value of a complete squad cleaning kit? This kit is made up from components from WW1 though ?????
I am considering sell because it does not match either of my GI 1911's.
Here is the description:
Box is Blued steel, no rust inside our out. A few scratches, especially on bottom as would be expected.
Insert is wood block with brass ends to hold cleaning rods.
Brass parts/grease can and oiler
Cleaning rods are all steel and marked as follows:
1---No markings but identical in all other areas as other 9 rods
1---USCB CO C64102-4 marked along shaft just above cleaning patch slot
8---NTI 5564102 marked around loop. These 8 appear to be new still with factory preservative coating.
10---blued steel take down tools. Backs of these tools are rounded and all appear to be unused. No markings.
1---Brass cleaning brush (brass ends with copper brissles.
I can supply pictures if someone can tell me how to attach to this forum.
