Pawnshop down the street has one I have always been interested in p7's and was just curious if the price they're asking is reasonable, 2995$ I know the P7M10 is rare and i'll probably never see one at a pawnshop again it's in very nice condition although I'm not sure what it comes with i.e. box extra mag ect. just curious if they're askin too much or what they'd prob deal a little bit

3K seems like a way high price, i'm also interested in the M10, but 3000? do some research, and go to HKPro forums, they're pretty good

$3k for an M10 seems a bit steep. As rare as it may be, I would think more $2k as more appropriate...tmmv

If you just want a collector piece that's fine but what does the .40 give really give you over the 9MM? Not starting a caliber war, but for under $700 you can get a Grade A P7 PSP German police trade in. If you're just looking for a P7 these are a great deal. If you are a collector, then nevermind!

Nickle plated P7M10. I think that it's worth around $2K because of the rarity of the caliber and nickle-plate version.

Pawnshop? Asking price? You do know that you can haggle the price a great deal don't you? Cash in hand when making the offer will do wonders in helping the shopowner accepting your offer.

stainless?!? now that would be cool. I've seen blued and nickel-plated versions out there, but a stainless one would be sweet...

I agree with most everyone $3K is too much, around $2K is what the gun is probably worth.

If you have the money it would probably be a worthwhile investment, the prices are only going to go up on the P7M10. They did not make that many and they are not going to be making more.

Love to see pictures if you decide to buy it.

P7M10 is a real klunker compared to the 9mm versions. H&K made the M10 capable of handling the 40 cal round by adding significant weight to the upper portion of the slide. It's heavy, looks wierd, and has a lot more rotational recoil force when fired because of the high weight.

OTOH, my P7M13 feels good in the hand, although not as quite as sleek as the M8's or PSPs, shoots great, and is a real tack driver out to 25 yards.

There are a lot of 40 cal pistols out there that feel, look, and shoot better than the M10. H&K just wanted onto the 40 cal bandwagon before they came out with their newer models like the USP. It died a quick, quiet and merciful death on the scrap heap of unique, but strange weapons.

I'd be stunned if there is actually a stainless version - it's probably a nickel piece that's mismarketed. To my knowledge, H&K never made a stainless P7 in 9mm or 40 cal.

There's no such thing as a stainless P7M10. If it's the factory finish, it's nickel. It's also possible that it was hardchromed.

I have heard this too and that's why I suggested a PSP instead, but it sounds like this person is looking at the M10 for collector purposes.

I can't believe the prices they get for these and the K3's which I would like to have but just can't justify the cost. It would be great to have the .22, .32, .380 K3 conversions.

BTW there are no stainless P7s. Don't let them tell you otherwise.

Yeah I realized this after I posted, that it could be a nickel finish and kicked myself. Do the nickel ones have a matte kind of finish on them? because this one does it's pretty nice looking, sure could buy alot for the money though......

Yup, matte, yellowish (compared with actual stainless steel's silver/grey-color) finish. Quite beautiful. I feel it has more "character" than actual stainless, although a high-polished blue is nice, too.
