I think the Standards are a wee tiny bit larger in cylinder size (.010” I think?) but otherwise dimensionally identical. This doesn’t mean that parts will swap without fitting; I don’t think that’s the case at all. I am picking up my new 3rd Gen Colt SAA tomorrow so I’ll be able to post caliper measurements soon, along with a range report. i loaded up another 400 rounds of .45 Colt today for a range session.
