I fell in love today with an old Star B 9mm... I can't believe how well it shoots for me! It's in really excellent shape... when I think that it's as old as I am, its condition impresses me even more! :D I only wish the mag held more than 8 rounds, but that's just the way it is. Where can I get additional mags? I looked on CDNN, nothing there...

I managed to find a couple of spares for my model BM at a local gunhow. Bring an old mag with you to compare. That was worth the price of admission!

Star B and BM are different mags and not interchangable! Last I looked www.jgsales.com had Star B mags. The BM mags seem much harder to find since there are a bunch of "surplus" Star BM for sale now at good prices so demand for BM mags seems pretty high right now.

Edit: The BM are usually priced low enough IMHO that if spare parts bothers you, you can buy two, especially if you haggle on one that don't look so good. That's what I did. The story on these is they are "Spanish Police" guns hence most have been carried a lot but shot little, all I've seen show holster wear and lots of dings on the grips. Both mine shoot great. Try www.militarygunsupply.com for Star BM they list them for $160 and come with two mags, its possible they've spare mags to sell.

You'll probably never find a spare narrow based one. So be very careful with the one you do have. As for the gun in pulp fiction i thought it was a bm.
