Is anyone using Starline Brass? Is it worth the extra money over once fired mixed?

Many thanks.

I have been reloading Starline brass for sometime and have never had a problem with their brass. Two months ago I purchased my second 10 MM Auto(SS Colt Delta Elite) and ordered a cs/1000 of 10MM new brass to load my 10's. I wouldn't use Starline brass if I didn't like and trust it. :)

I have the following 45 ACP brass (Winchester, CCI, Federal, CBC and PPU) I have only loaded the Winchester and seems to work good for me. Any comments about the others????? Just curious.

I've been shooting the same brass for about 4 years and reloaded them alot... I us the nichle brass in 45-70. Love them They hold up very well.

Starline is the only new pistol brass I use. Some have been reloaded at least 8 times and no problem. Definitely worth the price. I'll reload any free brass that I can find (after I inspect it) but I can always rely on Starline.

Werdly enough in France they are ceaper than Win or RP. Hence have a false reputation for being of questionable quality.. go figure.

I started using Starline brass for SASS in 45 Colt in '98. Since then I have used their brass in 45/70, 38-55, 38-40, 44-40, 9mm, and 38 Special with absolutely no problems. Great brass. I just wish that they would make more sizes in rifle calibers.

Some guys swear by it, I swore at it (figurative speaking, of course)

Had a box of Black Dawge Ammo (black powder) that was made with Starline.
Out of 50 cartridge 2 split.

I emailed Powder Inc (makers of the ammo) and they sent me a new box of ammo.
My nephew thinks the smoke is cool, so I haven't shot it yet.
I'm waiting for a non-rainy Saturday when the range is open & he's available.

When I buy new brass, it's usually Starline. It certainly is very high quality.

Not sure that I'd pay a bunch more for it over once-fired stuff, for my purposes, but that's mostly pistol ammo. For a rifle, I just might.

Just had 1000 pieces of starline 10mm delivered and I'm very happy as well. I'll be doing more business with them. ~Wingnut13

I've used it for over 20 years. Midway used to carry their own brand of brass (headstamp actually said Midway) and it was made by Starline. I don't know if they still do it, but for a set up fee and a minimum run of 10,000 cases, they would personalize the headstamp for you. That way, no arguing at the range over who's brass was who's!

I recommend Starline brass as well. I use their brass in 45-70, 10mm and 45 Colt. Their brass doesn't require any prep work for me. They're always uniform length and flash holes are clear.

I use range brass and sort headstamps for 9mm. I shoot light loads.

Starline, F.C and Blazer require less bullet seating pressure on my press. They shoot just fine. The cases are thinner/softer than Win, PPU and R&P which also shoot just fine.

Some big name competitors use Starline, but most big name competitors don't re-use their brass. That probably means nothing.

I must have 10-20 reloads on some of my Wins, PPU and R&P. I don't find enough Starline at the ranges to say the same.

I use only Starline brass. Have ordered in lots of 500 each time for over 4 years in 38 spl, 357 mag and 45 colt. No problems at all. Great brass.
