I reloaded 1200 rounds of 45 acp and 1100 rounds of 40 S&W.:D What did you do with your day off?

I managed to find 300 rounds of 22 lr on the shelf at Walmart. I dug a little trench and put 60' of coax in the ground for a 2 meter J pole antenna. Great day here too. Happy new year.

I went scrounging for range brass and sighted an old .22 pistol. Overall great day, Hello 2014!

I had many lofty goals for the day, but in the end got sucked into finishing a book I've been meaning to for awhile. Banged out about 300 pages more so now I'm getting close to the end. :D

I shot my new black powder revolver I received as a Christmas gift. Not a bad day!

I watched football and play with the kids. Cold and wet here. No shooting, but I did check on THR off and on all day

Finally got down to the range with my new rifle to sight it in. Got to run about 200 9mm reloads through the pistol and a bunch of .22. The range was rich in left behind brass, so I got to cart off about 15 lbs. of mixed range brass. Good start for the year. :)

Visited family, ate lots of good food, watched football and (after dark) read a book. I just had the one day off and leaving this part of the family to go shoot wasn't in the plans.

It was still a good way to say hi to 2014.

Being tired of all the drama of the gun and ammo shortages, I decided to go shopping for a low-end welded aluminum bass boat package with a 9.9hp for reservoir fishing.

I spent an hour talking to the sales rep before another customer came in and I finally left. Ever meet someone and the words just flow like you've known them forever? I agreed with her that the new year is starting off right.
