Another .44 Charter Bulldog Pug, but no picture. Like them Charters pretty well myself.

I have two revolvers with 3" barrels, but the only one with less than 3" is my Ruger Alaskan 454. I have one of those cheap Uncle Mikes nylon holsters. It isn't built for speed and probably bulges when I'm wearing my winter parka, but it's workable. I have it loaded with Hornady 250g JHP XTPs over 11g of Universal for about 1050fps. Very manageable recoil and if I run out of ammo I can beat them with it and not worry about scratching it. hehehe

I carry a 2 1/2", ported barrel Taurus Model 415, chambered in .41 Magnum on occasion. The all steel construction makes it a pleasure to shoot but a mite heavy to carry (a good holster and belt combo makes concealed carry viable). Five hard-hitting, controllable shots from a relatively compact package makes for a serious concealed handgun for use in self-defense.

I'm having that same problem: the list is getting too long.

I really want a S&W Model 24.

After reading this thread and doing some research, I just sealed a deal to pick up a used S&W 325 Night Guard in 45acp so I can join this " big bore revolver " club . I am super excited and can't wait to get my hands on it.
Do many of you guys have the 325NG and how do you like it?

Stock right now. But its little brother--a Night Guard 386--just came back from S&W with a hammer-bob and DAO conversion; you can see that one here.

I'll do the same to this one, too.

basically the same as my 325PD above......NG is 28oz the PD is 18oz.....mine is a little stingy with hot loads...NG shouldn't be as bad with the extra weight......i'm sure it will shoot like mine....i haven't found a load it doesn't like....

I have a 325 PD that I carry AIWB in a Tucker holster. Conceals under a T-shirt. A bit "barky" with hot 45s. I carry Gold Dot 230s in mine.

is there a way to subscribe without posting? My shortest revolver is 4" so I don't have anything to really contribute, but I LOVE this thread already, so I'm posting to subscribe :) GREAT photos!!!!

Here is a .455 Eley Hand Ejector built by S&W for the Brits & Canadians for WWI. Converted to .45 Colt and shortened:

I still need to remove the uselessly small front sight and replace it with somthing that actualy works.

Man those are sweet!
I don't have one :(
So I used a free program called gimp and cut off a couple inches. :D
