You already own a G26, so sticking with the caliber will be the best idea. The G19 is not that much different from the G26, whereas the G17 will feel and shoot different. Since muscle memory is developed by practice, and it is what your instincts will do in a no-warning-high-stress-situation, get a G19.
You can also add magazine buttplate extensions to your G26 that add a pinky rest and change the feel of the gun entirely, or you can get +2 extensions that do the same while adding to your magazine capacity. I have and love the G26, now that I have the extensions on them!
All guns should be Glocks. All Glocks should be 9mm, and all 9mm Glocks should be Model 19s
1911's are like strippers a Glock is like a fat girl.

I am going through the same sort of thing right now. I have narowed it down to the Glock 19 or 23. I just need to make a decision on the caliber and move on it.
In my mind the the G23 with the 9mm conversion barrel would only be for the range. To much risk of somting going wrong when you need it the most. But I do like the idea of being able to do some swaps and using other calibers if needed. The 23 will let you do 9mm, 40 and 357sig. 22lr with a topend replacement. So of the two its the more versital.
