Looking at purchacing one. Anyone have pet loads they want to share? What is the twist rate? Looking at 55-69gr bullet range. How accurate is yours, your likes/dislikes??
Thanks

twist rate should be found on the Savage/Stevens on line catalog, I got one in 7mm-08, probably the most accurate rifle I got, and I got some nice ones like a Sako, Ruger Varmint #1, Tikka T3 and it shoots right up with them, dime groups regular, the .22-250 should really be great.

looked it up, both their 200 models in .22-250 show a 1:12 twist fyi get one, you wont regret it, top it with a new Redfield or Busnell elite 3200 and you will have a tack driving rifle on a budget.

I have one in 22-250. After a little trigger work it shoots dime sized groups with 45gr WWB.

the stocks are down right ugly, hard to find a replacement stock, guess it'll be sandpaper and Krylon cammo paint for me, my 7-08 puts down big hogs with no problem with the Hornady 139grain SSTs.
