I just bought an old Stevens in .30-30. The original front sight is too low because a receiver sight was added. According to Numrich the sight is .595" tall, with two screw holes .875" apart. MidwayUSA was not working well tonight and I can't find another front ramp with 2 screw holes at NECG, Marbles or Williams.
Does anybody know where I can find a front ramp that is higher? I shot the gun today and it has a nice trigger, handles well and gave some good groups at 25 and 50 yards with Federal 150 grain ammo. Thanks!
