Sorry if this has been done before, but after an hour of searching, I can't find a clear cut answer to my questions.
I really only have one basic question; if I take a Steyr USR and Steyr AUG, could I switch parts between them without a care in the world, or would that cause an unholy apocalypse? I know there are parts counts and all that to keep straight for legal reasons, I'm just talking about this from a purely functional standpoint. Do you have to do anything to get AUG parts in a USR or vice versa?
Oh, and I know you have to modify the gas system to get the USR to have the interchangeable barrel option that the AUG does, but what exactly does one have to do to do this conversion?
