I wrote earlier about the heavy and inconsistent trigger pull on my Steyr M9.
Thanks to everyone for all of their help! I finally got a response from Dr. Aigner himself! He has stated that my particular gun (#0046XX) is indeed the old unrevised trigger and that all guns over 7000 have already been fixed prior to sale.
He wants to send me the revised trigger and sear, but I'm not sure how to install them. I'm pretty sure that this is a gunsmith only type of job, but just wanted to check with you guys first.
By the way, Zanders does not handle them anymore, nor does GSI, and Dynamit Nobel only handles the rifles. From all of the research I've done, I'm pretty sure that there is nobody in the US willing to do warranty work on the Steyr pistols.
