The gun looks in excellent condition. It is the 5" model in .45 ACP.

The best way I've found to get prices on stuff is to go search Gunbroker.com

Look at completed auctions, and then sort by number of bids. You're only interested in auctions that were bid on.

An okay rough estimate is cost new * 70%.

$750 is a good price on a used Trojan in my opinion. If the gun passes function checks and looks not to be tinkered with inside, I would snatch it up at that price.

750.00 isn't bad but Dawson has brand spanky new ones for around 920.00.

Take a Friday off, 'bout an hour to Florence, get a new one, 20 miles to Salado, lunch at the Stagecoach Inn. Call it a good day.

That's how I got my VIP - the drive's a little longer from DFW. The Stagecoach in Salado is something every Texan needs to do if you haven't already.

If I was closer to Dawson I'm sure my checkbook would suffer for it.

if you haven't tried to work on the price yet, make a frowny face and ask them if that is the best they can do. I've had a lot of success doing that. I would expect 750+tax to turn into less than 700 out the door.
