Just bought an old Savage over under .357/20 gauge and need a stock. I understand these were made with a traditional stock and a pistol grip type stock. Does anyone know where I can get a stock or have one made? Thanks, Billyzack from AZ
Did you ever find a stock? I have a nickel plated 357/20 o/u and my stock has cracked from recoil near the breach. Has some wallop with buckshot on the short barrel
Go to www.boydsgunstocks.com they have replacement stocks for the Savage 24, 219,220, Stevens 94. All the same frame size, the stocks are finished and require minor fitting.
The Model 24 stock bolted right up to my 219 savage that was made in the late 30's. The forearm needed minor fitting as the hangers have changed over the years.
