I've got a Savage .308, bolt action with blind magazine. The stock warped on me. I've sanded the barrel channel to eliminate contact with the barrel, but it's going to warp again sooner or later. I want to put a new stock on it and am looking for suggestions from those of you who do rifles and know the latest and greatest as well as some sleeper products out there. I punch a lot of paper with it, but it's primary purpose is a hunting rifle. Here's what I'd like.
1) Synthetic
2) pillar bedded
3) comb suitable for scope use
4) short to average L.O.P.
5) recoil pad
6) swivel studs

Anything other than the Bell & Carlson I should look at?
