Anyone have an opinion of the Stoeger Cougar with the rotating barrel locking system VS. the tilt locking system? Is it a good choice for CCW?

I own a Beretta Cougar in 45 made before they transferred the manufacture to Stoeger. I love the way it shoot and feels in the hand. Is is accurate and have had not one malfunction. Cleaning can take some getting use to due to the rotating barrel. The weapon is heavy and big and might be a challenge to conceal on the body. It serves as my nightstand gun. :)

I have a Beretta mini-cougar and a Beretta 96 compact, both in .40 S&W. The mini-cougar, while smaller in the grip and lighter, has less felt recoil and is more accurate than the 96.

I have the Stoeger Cougar in 9mm . I absolutely LOVE IT . It is way accurate and reliable , and may even be more reliable as my Glocks . It may be a little thick in the hand but can easily be carried under an untucked shirt as I do all the time .
I say get it . Any more questions , just send them my way . I seem to be one of the few that praise the Stoeger Cougar . Most just dont seem to be interested in them .
They also seem to have a lower recoil .

I still think that even now , after about 2 yrs since it was advertised , it is still the best bang for the buck :)

I owned one in 9mm a few years ago. It was a great handgun, just not my cup of tea. Didnt have a single complaint about it.
