Stoeger Cougar Accessory/Ammo Questions

To you guys with Stoeger Cougars, some advice would be appreciated . . .

Has anyone replaced the stock sights with night sights? Or more specifically replaced them with these:

I would really like to have some night sights on the gun, but I'm not sure if they're replaceable or if these specific ones will work.

I plan on keeping the gun at home the majority of the time and have considered adding a trigger guard mounted tactical rail and tac light. (since the .40 isn't offered with tac rails) Has anyone had any experience with this accessory mount?

Lastly, what kind of ammo do you guys carry? Anything the gun specifically doesn't like? I bought my .40 pretty recently and have only put cheap range ammo through it. I was thinking of carrying one of these two choices. Any thoughts?

Not much help here. Mine's a 9mm and had it for less than 2 weeks. Everything is still stock and I've only shot FMJ's through it.
