Hey guys, just bought a used stoeger m2000 and took it out shooting yesterday. Its a real blast to shoot and it didnt give me any feeding issuee using walmart brand winchester loads. My only question, cause im not to up on shotguns, is why i cant shoot it as fast as i can pull the trigger? Is this common for semi autos? What happens is, i pull the trigger, it shoots, i pull it again and it clicks. The shell is loaded, but it dosent shoot. Am i pulling before the sear is re-engauged? Thanks guys, brian.

Thanks guys, i know alot about rifles and pistols, im just laking in the shotgun world. I really appreciate the advice. Are gas guns faster than inertia driven guns?

Exactly how fast are you shooting it? I use a Stoeger 2000 Defense for 3 gun and shoot the Texas star in about 2.5sec. Shooting any faster than that and I don't really have control of the gun considering they do have a pretty stout recoil.

Which "Walmart Winchester" loads are you using? The value Winchester shells are known to have hulls that cause malfunctions in some guns (even pumps and break actions) because of the plastic used. I could fathom that causing the weapon to not feed properly as well (e.g. a tight shell causing the bolt to not go all the way into battery)
