Storing electronics in a gun safe?

Hi,all. I just got a Timber Ridge model 23 from Gander for my gun collection and I was wondering if it OK to store electronic devices in it as well. Such as digital cameras,laptops, etc... I remember reading somewhere that you shouldn't but I'm not sure as to why. The safe is located in an air conditioned home and has no built-in de-humidifier but I was thinking about getting some damp-rid or other descant. Thanks for the help.

I do. No ill effects in a couple of years.

Won't protect them from fire, but otherwise you should be fine. You shouldn't keep electronics in inexpensive document safes due to moisture issues.

The only bad thing I can think of by putting battery powered equipment into the safe would be introducing a source of ignition, or a source of corrosion in the event of a defective or leaking battery pack.

Chances are probably very slim, but still?

I won't tell you why, but there is "no Problem" with electronics. I know; 'cause I'm doin' it.....
