Hi all,

I am in Vegas on business and have some time to burn over the next couple of days.

Does anyone have any ideas for firearm related places I should check out? I was thinking maybe a range where I could go full auto, museums, good gun shops, etc.

Thanks!

Las Vegas gun shop? You can rent full autos there. Should be able to find them through Google easily.

I was in Vegas for New Year's, they have ads up all over the place, even on some of the taxis. But I have heard they charge tourist prices. I get the idea they are there to cater to people who hit a small jackpot and are looking for ways to spend it quickly, like the "Rent a Ferrari for a day" or "Helicopter tours of the grand Canyon" places on the strip.

The Gold and Silver Pawn Shop (from Pawn Stars) is there, it's open 24 hours, on LV Blvd a few blocks south of Fremont Street. But it's small, dingy, not very many guns or guitars on display, and don't expect to bump into anyone you recognize there.

There are two full auto rental shops but one is real close and convenient to The Strip. The ladies like it too!

There is only one Pawn SHop IN Las Vegas proper, isn't there? The one on TV!? Outside it would be a good place to find -- never know what'll be there that someone HAD to sell off to gamble.

Check out Wild West Guns..... They opened up a new shop down there. As others mentioned there are a few ranges just off the strip which rent full auto guns. Tons of fun but overpriced !!!!

Not when tourists, especially from strict gun control states or countries WILLINGLY line up to pay and play; besides, after factoring in the price of the weapon and ammo, if it wasn't fair, folks wouldn't be doing it

"The Gun Store". They do full autos and such. Get there early, that place is always packed. I took my ccw class from them last year. They have a decent shop as well.

you could always go to the Clark county shooting range like I did weekend before last. they have quite a facility over there. It was defiately worth going. Of course I planned ahead and brought my 1911, model 27, and colt target model 22.

check out Discount Firearms. It's not far from the strip and they are nicer and far less busy than the other similar places around. You can rent a pretty decent selection of guns including full auto stuff.

My wife is going to Vegas for a conference soon, and wants to shoot a bit there, so I'm bumping this to see if anyone has anything to add.
