Stupid reloading mistake of the week

Toying with shooting a Bullseye Match. Order a couple hundred 148gr .357 copper plated, hollow base wadcutters. Put them over 2.9gr of TiteGroup. I had a very low, or missed charge in one. Pftttttt. Stuck 4" into a 6" barrel. Ruined the session for that gun, but no biggy, I thought.

Now the story drifts slightly. <Admin: If you want to move this to it's own thread, do so.>

Here's what the bullet looked like when I got it out compared to a new one.

I didn't like these rounds because when I tested them at 50yds some were key-holeing. Now I've got to fire these into some soft material
and recover some that don't stick in the barrel to see what they look like.

I'm up for some learning, why it's so stretched? Was that a function of driving it out of the barrel. My aluminum rod is 5/16 dia (0.3125 and it came out fairly easily.

I should point out this isn't my first Pfttt! (Okay, I'm a sloppy reloader at times. It has been several years though since the last one. Had a hard time finding my rods.)

I've had Pfttt! with other .357 style/brands bullets as well as with 9mm in a semi-auto and I think even one in my .45ACP. But I've never seen the extracted bullet look so elongated.

If you were someone I didn't know on this forum, I'd be calling troll.
Dang!! That's hard to believe.

How in the world could that happen?

As far as stupid things go, I picked up about 20 .38 special, cleaned and primed cases one time and threw them in with my dirty .357 mag brass and dumped them in the ultrasonic cleaner for 16 minutes.
When I discovered what I did I set them up on the shelf to dry out for a month. I want to see if they still fire.
And no, I didn't put them under my inferred heater to dry. I caught the mistake before that.
If I wouldn't have, that may have been interesting.

I started to continue my reloading process at 4 am ONCE after a urine call and couldn't go back to sleep. Don't ever forget to change out the sizing die for the seating die when seating bullets. Stupid mistake with brand new Lapua brass.
