I too have a Sturdy safe and feel it is well, sturdy.
someone was asking about fire ratings and they have a video or pictures of one that was in a total burn down of a house that was not planned and all the contents were unharmed such as paper money and polymer pistols. Terry has also placed his safes in fire department burn downs of houses with similar results.
All I can say is they need to do some better videos to show the quality and features of their safes. A great video would go a long way to explain things to some people.
If you go to their shop, he will give you the demonstrations on build features with other brands of safes sitting side by side with one of theirs.
I have a 48" x 60" x 27" and have the basic interior with the fire proofing and interior lining and the shelves are very strong. I have many tall 50 cal cans loaded with ammo sitting in the shelves and there is no signs of weakness. and as mentioned above, the door is fitted so good, you can not even get a dime in between the edges, so no pry attacks.
Terry does not seem very old so he will not be retiring very soon IMHO.
