i am looking to put together a howa mini action in the next couple weeks in 7.62 x 39 for a small deer rifle. i am going to put sights on it and when i scope it i am thinking a fixed 4 power or a 2-7 even a 1-4. but i like the no worry with the fixed scopes. i see most 4 powers under 100 or just above are rimfire shotgun or mz. not many for rifle the shot gun and mz should be good to use but rather have a true rifle scope.
its looking like mot are a Bushnell or the weaver. i don't mind ether but the Bushnell seem to have a very short eye relief and i don't know much about the new weavers. id have to see if a 3-9 x 40 seem to big the one place has them for $100. i think they are take offs. just like to see what u think or if anyone still use fixed power scopes. troy.
