I knew there was a reason I keep going to those darn gunshows. At the Miami show today in Coconut Grove, I scored big time.
Not one, but TWO, old American made Redfield 5 Star 20mm scopes. The older American made Redfields had remarkable optics. These have been newly refurbished by ABO here in Miami. Both are 1 X 4 Variables. Price was very reasonable, at $200 each.
A few tables over, I found two 9mm CZ 75D Compact 12 round mags. Brand new MecGar, still in the blister packs. Cost? $21 each.
To complete the 'hat trick', a aisle over from that table, an original Ruger 20 round Mini-14 mag, used, but looks about like new, and I scored it for $20.
Not a bad day at the Gun Show, for a change.
The place was jam packed at opening. I heard one of the dealers remark that this was the best attendance at the Coconut Grove show in some time.
oh, if anyone needs repair work on a scope, (any brand) or spotting scopt, binoculars or such, ABO is a good place to have the work done. Shin Saiga is the manager. 305-539-0305. ABO has repaired several old scopes for me through the years, and they do exellent work.
