I use this one and am happy. The ones you are looking at would probably be better. As for reliability, just change the batteries every six months (my first batteries lasted about 18 mos) and you're fine. Many safes come with a key-entry backup too.
I would look at anything that uses a Simplex push button mechanical lock. Quick access, very reliable, proven design, and no batteries or electronics to fail.
V-Line, Fort Knox, AMSEC, Cannon, and others all make models that use the Simplex lock.
I use the GV1000 and I love it. Highly recommend it. Can get your gun out in less than a few seconds, and it has a key backup. Great for mounting to a wall, or whatever. Price is hard to beat.
I've never had a problem with the GV that didn't involve me pressing the wrong combination. The biometric version would be nice, in which the combination would be a back up and the key a secondary back up.
