I have on hold a P40 and must decide if I want to purchase it or not. The gun is used and in very good condition, and for a fair price. I have two questions. Compare recoil to the G27, and what type of IWB holsters do you use.
I picked up a P-40 used a few months ago and I`m really happy with it. It`s taken the place of both my S&W 4053 and KelTec P-11. I can`t compare the recoil to a G-27 but I can tell you I don`t find it objectionable at all. It about the same as the KelTec with +Ps. In fast drills I`m not any more accurate with it than with the P-11 (which I`ve got about 10K rds. of practice with) but the Kahr will deliver accurate fire out to 50yds. or more like a full sized gun. I carry it in either a remolded Springbok kydex J hook IWB holster originally made for a S&W 3913. It`s very thin kydex similar to those made by FIST,which are much nicer (this one was on sale for $15 though!). Or a Ken Null SMZ ultra light inverted shoulder rig. Both are slim and light like the P-40 and make carrying it a pleasure. I`d recomend the P-40 to anyone. Marcus
