Ha.....she's afraid of big dogs (they have some kind of little 5 lb rat)too. My son's 37 years old, a senior vp for a f500 co. and earns in the mid six figures with a mind of his own when he gets permission to use it at home. :p
Thanks again,
Jim

Okay, let's see, he's afraid of guns, he's afraid of dogs and he is, evidently, afraid of his wife. I think that your son needs to man up a bit. You probably need to talk to him, not about guns, but about being responsible.

He's not afraid of dogs....he was raised with two dobies in the house. Ha, I've been telling him for years he needs to get some balls.

I would suggest an inexpensive Stoeger 20 gague "Coach Gun" for home 'D~! :D

That way, you son and his bride would be able to adequately protect
their family from harm. In 9m/m handguns, the Browning Hi-Power is
an excellent choice; but I personally prefer SIG's, on account of their
double-action first shot capability. One that comes to mind, is the
compact SIG-SAUER 9m/m P228; as its not as "top heavy" as its big
'brother, the SIG P229, nor as large as the SIG P226~! :scrutiny:;)

I suggest you have your son read a detailed story about the family that was slaughtered a few months ago by a couple of burglers. A quick google search will find it for you. The husband/father survived the incident; ask your son if he would want such a fate to come to his family while he did nothing to stop it?
