Until I find a more comfy IWB holster for my PPS M2 I’m just using a Sticky at 2:30. Works well under a tee, but need to discreetly adjust after sitting.

They something similar up here in the upper Midwest but our seasons are Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter and Road Construction.

But after living in Alaska, folks up here don't know how good they have it.

Our 3 are winter, summer, road construction.
91 degrees in the shade here today. Still got the ultra compact 1911 .45 on. In 6 months when it's down around zero, I'll still be wearing it. It'll have a jacket hanging over it then, instead of just a t-shirt.

This year we had winter, fool's spring, winter again, fool's spring again, winter, then directly into summer.

Blossoms on fruit trees were killed and branches came down when we had a severe frost and heavy wet snow in April.

I got tired of carrying heavy iron, now it's pretty much an LCP or nothing, pocket carry so it doesn't print through my T-shirt.

Yeah, we had a real late frost here too. Doesn't look like my apple trees will produce anything this year. Plums seem to be doing fine though.

My two dwarf cherries had a nice crop, but it killed every blossom on my peach tree.

Eastern Florida. Kel-Tec PF9, carried ITB (inside-the-belt, in IWB holster) since 2010. Replaced the blued slide with a hard-chromed one in 2012 to stave off rust.

Second Kel-Tec (P32) on front pocket. Ten-round reload for the P32 on belt (if I go somewhere where the PF9's presence may be impractical, the P32 will become the "primary" when the PF9 gets stowed somewhere.)

Will possibly be grooming the newly-acquired Ruger LCP MAX for pocket-carry, maybe even as a primary, as I have been considering abandoning belt carry for tucked-in shirts.

If it was me, with those options, PF9 on belt + new LCP Max in pocket and shirt happily continuously untucked, in FL.

Pretty much my "go to" EDC is P365 in a Wright Leather Works IWB holster with the Utiliclip. Also carry a Sig 938 once in awhile, winter is Kimber Pro TLE II .45... 20210608_103800.jpg

Starting with the most carried: AMT DAO 45ACP Backup, 380 AMT Backup, older Smith bodyguard 38 special, Charter Arms 44 Bulldog, Hi Standard 22 derringer.

We never had a winter here. I can’t recall the last rainfall at home that did more than just spot up the dust on my cars. :(

Gonna be 100+ all weekend. Tough to hide more than my LCP II under a sweat-sticky t shirt and shorts. :(

Stay safe.

I know myself well enough to sat that's probably exactly what's gonna happen, that I'll just keep as I have been, but with my new MAX instead of the P32 in a pocket. If I do go tucked-in, which seems increasingly unlikely, then the MAX in one pocket and the P32 in another will be a probably scenario.

I'm in my mid-fifties (officially, today), so it's not looking like I'm going to start caring about shirts being tucked in anytime soon..

My summer carry depends upon the degree of concealment necessary: deep, moderate, who gives a damn.
I carry a Ruger Security o Compact.
For deep concealment I use the flat base magazine.
For moderate concealment I use the magazine with the pinky extension.
For days it does not matter much I use the 15 round magazine.
I carry an additional 15 round mag in my pocket or in a belt mounted magazine pouch. So I have either 25 or 30 rounds +1 available.

Summer-time, in SE Texas? The wet, rainy, green corner of Texas? I carry an ice pack, and an umbrella. The umbrella is mostly for shade. ;)

Actually, the temperature is not so bad, but it is extra-steamy, this year. Carry guns are the usual assortment of revolving pistols: SP101, Speed Six, K-snubs, GP100 with 3” or 4” barrels. Same as all year.

I like your taste (carrying wheel guns). Solid. Refined, humidity be damned.

First, Jeepnik wins the prize for Most Unusual Carry Rig. I grew up wanting an AMT Backup because all the magazines said they were great. My mother said that instead of an AMT, I could make a gun shape with my fingers and yell, “Pow,” so I went with that.

Now that I am in my 50s and Florida’s temp is in its 90s, I’ll try out this:

I don’t buy $1 rounds of .38SP, so backwards FWC will have to do.
I conducted experiments with HBWCs loaded backwards over 30 years ago. When they worked, they worked well. I found expansion and penetration to be very unreliable.

I carry a factory target HBWC in a j frame for reasons I've given a bunch of times. If you'd like to hear them PM me.
