Super Nova question.

What kind of quality are the Benelli Super Nova's like? I don't know much about them but from what I've seen they appear to be really nice guns. The only thing bad I have heard about them is that the forend makes a rattling noise. Do they still do that or has Benelli fixed the problem?

I own a 12GA Benelli Super Nova and I think it is a really good gun for the price! Could you spend a couple hundred more for a shotgun? Sure, but why would you want to?

I have to tell you Allist you had me wondering ... I had not heard about the rattling forend ... so I actually took mine off the wall and started shaking it and moving it around and I didn't hear anything.

I hope this helps ... I would certainly buy it again! If you have any other concerns just fire away!

Just bought a regular Nova with LPS ghost ring sights. After the current rebate, it was $325 OTD with a five year guarantee, and you don't hear of many Benellis needing to go back to Benelli. I've read about forend rattles, and I've read that the SuperNovas didn't do it and that they fixed it on the Nova. Whatever the case may be, the one I'm T&Eing doesn't rattle. It's very, very solid gun that points and handles beautifully.

I've yet to have a problem with mine. The only downside is for the cost of a new barrel, you can buy a new shotgun. Make sure you buy one with the length barrel you really want. Mine is a 28" and used for blasting away at clays. The ComforTech stock makes all day long shooting sessions very comfortable.

Loved my supernova, wish I never had to get rid of it. The foreend did not rattle at all.

I had the mag tube extended to take 11 so it just poked past the end of the 24 inch barrel I had on it. There is a pic of it in the 'post your hd/tactical gun' thread from a week or so ago.

I thought Nova was a 1,300 shotgun? or is that the m2/m4???

Roger that last, M2 is low fours, M4 is mid fours.
