Suppressor reliability issues

I would like to get suppressors for my pistols. I am a big fan of Glock. However, my understanding is that the barrel design on Glocks does not compliment sound suppressors because the barrel tilts. Does the booster system on suppressors eliminate the concern? Can Glocks be reliably suppressed? Also, how much suppression can I expect for 9mm, .40, and .45? Basically what do each of those calibers sound like when fired from a suppressed pistol? Thanks.

Yes, you can suppress a Glock. It is generally accepted it is easier to suppress smaller diameter bullets because of the size of the hole for the bullet path. However I have shot both and a subsonic 45 is better than a super sonic 9mm, so it depends on the load too.

They sound like a muffled gun shot, they don’t make the jeeeeeoooot sound you here in the movies.

Yes Browning tilt barrel systems need a booster or an ultra light can.

Yes Glocks can be reliably suppressed.

You can expect hearing safe suppression levels in the mid 30dB of suppression from most quality 9mm silencers. It's not Hollywood quiet but quiet enough.
