Looks like Surefire is moving from doing flashlights into the realm of sound-suppressors as well.

Maybe they're looking to be the undisputed champion maker of stuff to hang on your gun. :)

They've been making them for about 6 months I think. Mostly as R&D and such, but they are now available for sale.

Someone on another board I post on made an inquiry to purchase one and they weren't interested in selling to anyone but LEO/Military end-users. :scrutiny:

Drat!

According to their advertising, they supposedly outlast the SOCOM cans... but it IS advertising. I don't know how they really perform, and it would likely be quite some time before I could find out first-hand.

Are they made in California, we cant get them then. This is what ended the Ops suppressor going to civies as well IIRC. There is a law against the selling of suppressors made in the state to civillians.

The above posters are correct. These suppressors are made in California and cannot be for civilian consumption. I am a Surefire Presmium Dealler and I have a Class III -- I can't even get one with a sample letter.

Some people swear that they are the finest can ever made. Others say it is a POS.
