Surplus ammo

What are some of the better websites to order milsurp ammo from? Aim has great prices but they wont ship to were.

I looked at ammoman,cheaperthandirt, Natchess,sog but they wont ship, briefly looked at midway to. im looking for 7.62x 54 R.
i went to a gun store yesturday and they had the audacity to sell the 440 rd cans for 131 and 880 for 230. so no price cuts

Try taking a look at www.ammoman.com. These guys have a variety of stuff, plus shipping is already included in their quoted prices. Out of curiosity what caliber are you looking for?

If you tried all of those places, I'd be willing you're in a state where you can't receive ammo shipments...like Illinois?

i live in california. sacramento to be exact but in the county if it makes a diffrence

That's probably why they won't ship to you. California probably has a law on that. In fact they probably have several.

It is legal to ship ammo to Illinois outside of Cook county. Legally the shipper must have a copy of your FOID card before shipping. There are some companies that will not ship anywhere in Illinois, Midway USA is one. Jim.

A huge plus one on AIM. I love that place. While not the cheapest, I've had good success with the 70's Hungarian light ball they sell.

Why the problems with Illinois?

Mainly because they don't feel that the hassle of keeping FOID copy records is worth the $ they'd make by selling to Illinois.

It's funny because Midway won't ship to Illinois but one of their bigger competitors will and doesn't even require a copy of the FOID. I don't want to jinx it by saying who.
