Used Hi Powers are very difficult to find. Most are priced near the cost of a new Hi Power. I would really try to avoid buying a used Hi Power online. I would not pay $500 for any of the weapons in the photo. Plus before I could find their site I had to wade through all the complaints dating back to 2010.

Does it need to be a for real Hi-Power? There are FEGs on GunsAmerica.com that are the SIngle Action Hi-Power style, not the SA/DA ones.

Their may be some surplus Israeli Hi Powers still floating around. Many have been bought to refinish and customize. I believe CDNN still has new Browning Hi Powers for $799. That is the route I would go. Well worth the money to get a genuine FN made Browning Hi Power. The clones are OK, but get the real deal.

I've had my MK III Hi Power since 1994, and love it!

Coles Distributing out of Scottsville, KY has a lot of the recent Israeli High Power(s) listed on Gun Broker. I read on another Post where they just got another 600 in that have not been listed anywhere.

I bought one of the High Powers from this vendor and was very impressed with what was delivered. This is the second gun I have bought from them - very accurate descriptions and a seller that stands behind their merchandise. Prices run from the $300s - to the $500s depending on condition. I gave $459 for mine.

Its an arsenal refinished military weapon in excellent condition - suits me fine, since its not going to be a "safe queen." So far it has been a typical FN Browning - has functioned flawless. I picked up some new Mec Gar magazines that have worked great in this gun.

The VZ grips were added after I got it.

Cole Distributing on GB= gcolecoledist

Some Pluses:
Most have been re-parkerized not baked on spray paint like some importers.
Small import stamp on barrel instead of electric pencil on frame.
Gary is the importer not a 3rd party.
Honest seller w/ integrity.
Frame has hole on opposite side of lanyard stud so it can be driven out much easier if you want to remove it, some do not have hole which means dremel time.

My advice is to pay as much as you can afford, you get nice little bumps in quality for every $20 - 30 including better magazine.

thanks guys, currently I own an feg hp I picked up at a pawnshop a few months back that the previous owner re blued, took out the mag saftey, did a trigger job, and installed a C&S sfs hammer kit, this is my favorite pistol and because I shoot it so much better I sold my p226, now Im wanting to get a real fn made one and will probably get a nice one from cole dist, later down the road a cz75(which imo is just a sa/da hp)

+1 for Coles. I paid around $480 for mine I think, and it is in very good shape. His grading is very accurate, and his pics and description are very honest. He misses one or two things here and there, but he has 15 pages of guns last time I looked, so I'll give him the occasional miss....

He has FN Hi-Powers, FEGs, Lugers (made by FEG), and Kareens available.
