I have a SW model 60 with a 3 inch barrel, am looking for input on holsters and grips.
Internet searches come up with lots of holsters but most specify 2" barrel and the ones that don't I am afraid are still 2" only. I'd like a IWB leather, or a belt holster (leather) that "pulls" the gun into the body. I know I've seen something like that advertised but forget where. But I'm not stuck on leather, just looking for a better option than "mexican" carry. If I can't conceal carry properly this may become a range plinker, and CDNN catalog has oversized or fullsized J frame grips for sale pretty cheap. Anyone put these larger grips on their J frame, how does it look and handle? Thanks.

I use a Don Hume JIT belt holster with my 3" gun.

I bought one for my snubbie 637 airweight but the bottom is open, so my 3" goes in there without any problems.....just a bit of barrel sticking out the bottom. Doesnt look bad and the holster works great.

They are $27 shipped from Gunners Alley.

Here is mine with my snubbie in it.

I've put the square butt J frame grips on my round butt M60 and the difference is amazing. I'm sorry that I can't post a photo, but with the 3" barrel the larger square grip looks much better than the rubber round one did.
For me the gun points with a more natural wrist angle and gives better recoil control with +p ammo. Mine is an earlier model, before the 357 Mag 60s came out.

sd,
What kind of grips are you looking for, rubber or wood?

Rubber:
Pachmayr Compac Grips or the Compac Pro which doesn't cover the back strap http://www.pachmayr.com/pachmayr/index.htm
Hogue Monogrip http://www.getgrip.com/main/overview/revolvers.html

Wooden:

Nill-Grips (big bucks!) http://nill-griffe.de/cms_usa/index.php?id_navigation=21
