Someone on the Single Shot Rifle Association's Facebook page asked me for some photos of the military sights on my rifle, so I thought I might as well post them here too.
I didn't realize this model had volley sights until it arrived, and until I took these photos I hadn't spotted the battle sight on the reverse side of the rear leaf:
Note: the shiney bit on the underside front of the front sight barrel band (a lot of words to describe this!) is the aluminum shim I wrapped around the barrel's sight lug to remove any wobble. The projection on the right side of the rear stock band is the volley front sight.
