I've got a thing for Swedish target rifles (and non-target rifles). I'm always on the hunt for a good deal on a Swedish rifle and sometimes I get lucky.

Here are some Swedish target rifles I've glommed over the years...

CG63 on top,
CG 63 with heavy Schultz and Larsen barrel,
Husqvarna M96 in a modified CG63 stock,
FM23-36 "trials rifle",
CG-80

This thread reminded me of this high quality Swedish target rifle offered by Husquvarna-FFV back in the 1970's. It is .308 cal. and was made for US style NMC competition, which I was much involved in at the time. The super slick bolt was great for the rapid fire stages, accuracy is about equal to Rem. 40-X's in same caliber and also has a good trigger. DSC_0265.JPG DSC_0273.JPG DSC_0269.JPG DSC_0820.JPG

Wonder if it was available in 6.5 x 55
It might have been, but I expect not as it was made for the American market when .308 was the predominate caliber for US High-Power target shooting at that time. Even the stock was designed by a well-known US target shooter.
